I have found it especially useful to be able to capture a physical map—such as one on an information board, tourist guide, or hiking map—and then navigate using my smartphone’s GPS. This feature enhances outdoor navigation by integrating real-world maps into a digital format.

Furthermore, MapOnMap offers comprehensive support for track navigation. Users can record and follow GPX tracks, facilitating precise route planning and execution. The inclusion of Track Geofence functionality also provides real-time voice alerts when deviation from the pre-defined route occurs, promoting effective navigation and safety. Since GPX is a standard format widely available on various hiking resources, this integration broadens the application's applicability.
